by Feb 24, 2014Lifestyle, News

Just as you pull into Borumba Deer Park the feeling of finally reaching your destination washes over you and your weekend camping trip has just begun.

The tents are pitched, the camping equipment unpacked and the kids have just come back from their first mad exploration of their new surroundings.

You pull up a chair in front of the perfect little camp fire you have just built and crack open your first ‘stubbie’ (or 3rd). You sit back and relax to the aromas of lamb and vegie stew bubbling on the camp fire with the thought “this is the life”.

Overall, Borumba Deer Park looks like a fantastic place to go camping with the family or even with your mates. The facilities are basic yet comfortable and the main reason people stay there is because of its close proximity to Lake Borumba, where the real boating and fishing begins.

For those of you who love camping but still need to be close to civilisation (amenities, kiosk and electricity), Borumba Deer Park is well worth trying out.
