Bathrooms. Blokes have been known to spend quite a significant amount of time in them. So why not be creative when it comes to your fit out? From car parts to tools, there are lots of ways you can pimp out your bathroom and give it a nice ‘manly’ theme. Here are six creative bathroom ideas that should make you feel more red-blooded.

1. Tool Box Cabinet

A tool box cabinet is the ultimate in cool. Not only does it have rugged, industrial appearance, it solves the problem of unnecessary clutter. While some men like to keep their everyday toiletries out all the time, too many can result in a mess. Having pull-out drawers are a practical way to keep these items organised, and the gloss paint finish ensures the cabinet is protected against rust.

2. Car Knickknack Bathroom

Here’s another example of how great a man cave bathroom can look. This car-themed bathroom has gone all out with road signs, bumper stickers, hubcaps and metal accessories. The solid cabinet allows plenty of counter space and offers plenty of storage. While we don’t need a lot of counter space, we do like a designated space for the essential to be on hand when needed.

3. Toilet paper crate

A decent sized holder for plenty of toilet paper is essential in a bloke’s bathroom. This roomy crate with a vintage license plate screwed onto it is an ideal way to create a stylish yet manly toilet roll holder.

4. Biker candle holders

Some men light a match or open a window to clear the air in their man cave bathroom. But if that seems a little rustic you can always opt for tea light candles in recycled bike chain holders. These are rugged enough to show you still mean business but also reflect your individual style.

5. Manly lighting

Don’t settle for a bare lightbulb swinging in your bathroom like something out of a horror film. There are lots of other lighting options to consider. From LED light bulbs, to antique tools or recessed lights, good lighting is a must have for shaving and other daily rituals.

6. Beer Keg Urinal

Last but not least, you may wish to give your man cave an authentic pub feel by installing a beer keg urinal. Make sure you get one fully custom made and with rounded edges so it doesn’t do any permanent damage.
