3.   Parking is available next to the track for a $3.00 fee. There is also parking on the street but be careful you are not parking illegally because the police are constantly patrolling the surrounding neighbourhoods. Plus, it’s just not good form.

4.   The speedway has a seating capacity on the grass hill for about 5,000 and about 2,000 in the grandstand. Around the top of the venue there is also a concrete area where you can bring along folding chairs. You are not permitted to bring folding chairs to the grassy hill so it is a good idea to bring along a blanket or two. There is no additional charge for grandstand seating.

5.  There are a number of food and drink outlets on the grounds that serve hot chips, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken strips and cold drinks. There is also a bar available serving a selection of alcoholic beverages.

6.   You are not permitted to bring commercially prepared food, glass, alcohol or drugs and all bags must be available for inspection.

7.  If the event is rained out or cancelled for other reasons you can get a rain check where conditions apply.

Lastly, don’t forget to rug up as the nights are getting cool because the last thing you want is to have yourself and your children freezing cold. Be safe and have a great night out.
